It’s a wrap of Dreamforce 2021, the first, one of its kind, in-person and online Salesforce event. Dreamforce is world’s largest enterprise technology conference packed with hundreds of enlightening sessions and luminary speakers. It was a three-day event from 21 – 23 September that aired live on Salesforce+, a brand-new streaming service introduced by Salesforce to enjoy live experiences and original content series. In Case You Missed It (ICYMI), here’s Aethereus offering you a rundown of all the awesome product announcements made in Dreamforce 2021. So, let’s get the tape rollin’.
Revenue Intelligence (GA SU ‘22): Combines Sales Cloud, Einstein and Tableau capabilities into a unified revenue management command center that equips sales leaders with insights throughout the entire sales and revenue cycle.
Subscription Management (GA SU ‘22): Delivers a unified customer experience empowering them to manage subscriptions from any self-service channel on their own and maximize revenue with Einstein.
Sales Enablement (GA WI ‘23): Build high performing sales teams fast to accelerate deals with data-driven coaching, Skill up sales reps with contextual, real-time learning & Tie enablement to revenue
All-Digital Contact Center (GA WI ‘22): Digital Contact Center brings employees, partners, customers and apps on one single screen. It includes capabilities include Einstein Conversation Mining, Messaging for In-app & Web, Visual Remote Assistant, Workforce Engagement Intraday Management, and Service Cloud Voice.
Einstein-Powered Service Workflow (GA WI ‘22): The all-new AI-powered workflows built into the Service Cloud 360 platform enable customer service teams to predict, route, and solve customer needs proactively and sometimes even before the customer is knows that a problem exists. It includes Customer Service Incident Management, Omni-Channel Flow, and Robotic process automation capabilities (RPA).
Salesforce CDP & AppExchange (GA WI ‘22): Enable customers to activate their segment data via AppExchange apps from participating ISV partners to create personalized experiences across web, mobile and connected TV ads. AppExchange apps integrated with Salesforce CDP will be generally available from WI ’22 release.
Datorama Reports Advanced (GA): Customize your Marketing Cloud dashboards, enrich your messaging and journey data with custom KPIs and data extracts, and unlock cross-channel insights with four ready-made apps. Datorama Reports Advanced is a premium upgraded version of Datorama Reports for Marketing Cloud.
Salesforce CDP (GA WI ‘22)
Salesforce Customer Data Platform (CDP) is a powerful platform that supercharges customer interactions everywhere. The new Salesforce CDP enables companies prioritize first-party data to make every customer interaction more personalized. It also makes data smarter, more connected, and easier to action upon in a trusted way. Salesforce CDP is now Generally Available (GA) from Winter ’22 release onwards. Now you can make every moment smarter with unified data.
Salesforce CDP for Commerce (GA WI ‘22): With Commerce Cloud data integrated into CDP out-of-the-box, companies get a complete view of first-party customer data across every touchpoint, providing a true single source of truth & ability to use that data in cross-channel marketing.
Salesforce Payments Powered by Stripe (GA): Salesforce Stripe partnership powers Commerce Cloud Payments & advanced commerce experiences for enterprise customers to help them adapt to a rapidly digitizing economy.
Salesforce Fulfilment Network feat. FedEx (GA): New integration between FedEx, ShopRunner & Salesforce Commerce Cloud lets companies speed up and simplify shipping, make supply chain and fulfillment more efficient.
Analytics App for Every Cloud (GA WI ‘22): Tableau now has an analytics templated app for every cloud, be it Sales, Service, or even industries such as Manufacturing or Financial Services
Salesforce Data Pipelines (GA): Now Big Data officially meets Salesforce, at last! Data Pipelines bring the power of Apache Pig and Map-Reduce into the Salesforce multi-tenant environment for on-platform processing of your Big Data. It enables Salesforce customers to combine and transform data in Salesforce faster than ever. Instead of exporting data to an external tool to transform & aggregate, and then writing back to CRM, Data Pipelines enables customers to enrich and modify data natively in Salesforce.
Mulesoft Composer for Salesforce (GA): Offers the easiest way to connect apps & data to Salesforce and deliver connected experiences, faster without writing a single line of code.
Mulesoft RPA GA (SU ’22): Replace repetitive tasks with bots that can intelligently process documents, enter data, or take action on the user’s behalf, all without code.
Anypoint Platform: Universal API Management (GA SP ’22): Connect any app, data, or device with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, accelerate projects with a single marketplace for APIs and integration assets.
Customer 360 Platform
Salesforce Customer 360 Platform is now Slack-first Customer 360 platform. It connects employees, customers, partners and the apps they use on a unified platform. Brand-new pre-built integrations between Slack and Salesforce allow every department such as Sales, Service, & Marketing to collaborate in channels that unite teams and streamline workflows built around CRM data. This helps them to get a single source of truth for their business and a single, shared view of the customer.
Hyperforce is a platform architecture built to securely and reliably deliver the Salesforce Customer 360, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Industries and more, on major public clouds. It empowers customers to deploy apps and services from anywhere, while using the scale and agility of the public cloud. Hyperforce delivers performance at B2B and B2C scale, built-in trust, local data storage and backwards compatibility. Hyperforce will be live in 16 regions (new ones in EU Operations Zone) by the end of 2022. It is designed keeping sustainability in mind as it runs on 100% renewable energy.
Backup & Restore
The new Backup and Recovery service offers the much-needed ability for Admins to take continuous backups of their Salesforce orgs and revert back to any point with just a few clicks. With Backup and Restore the Salesforce Admins will be able to automate regular backups of the orgs object data, files and attachments, restore old data from backups and automatically remove old backups. The backups will be fully audited and will provide details of the initiation, changes and running of backups.
Huddles (GA): Slack huddles is a lightweight audio-first way to start live conversations. Wow that’s super cool to recreate the office environment and spontaneous desk chats. Use it to discuss a complex topic on the fly without having to negotiate busy calendars, and enjoy a break from being on camera.
Clips (GA SU ’22): Slack Clips allow teams to create, share, and consume video and audio content in Slack channels. Yes, you heard it right. With clips, users can leave quick and simple video or audio messages right from any Slack channel or DM. This offers a more flexible and asynchronous way of communicating with their team.
